Senior A Guzheng Teacher

Carrie has been playing Guzheng since she was 6 years old under Yue Qiu, a young famous musician in China. From 2004, she started to study under Yun Qv, who is a prominent professor in Xi An Conservatory of Music. Carrie has also been taught by Lin Ling, who was one of the eminent Guzheng players, as well as a professor in China Conservatory of music. She is currently completing a Master degree of Education at Monash University.

Guzheng has been a part of Carrie’s life for more than 20 years; she has won a good number of awards various Guzheng competitions including:
* Bronze award in the national Art competition of Guzheng.
* Silver award in the northwest division of the same competition.
* Gold at the national college students Art Festival.
* Excellent guidance teacher award of Guzheng competition in 2009 and 2010.
* Chief of Guzheng Orchestra of school from 2006 to 2010
