Junior Violin Teacher
Violin background:
- Started Violin at the age of 7
- Studied under Christine Johnson and Ivana Tomaskova
- Completed grade 8 AMEB with A+ in 2011 as well as Amusa (2014) and Lmusa (2016)
- Played with the Melbourne String Ensemble 2011-2014 under the tutelage of Fintan Murphy
- Toured Croatia and Slovenia with MSE in 2013, performing in concerts including for the Croatian ambassador
- Debuted in 2014 with MSE with the Bach E Major Concerto in the BMW edge
- Joined Scotch College Symphony Orchestra in 2015
- Played in multiple string quartets, quintets, duets and octets throughout 2011 till present
- Played with Wilma Smith and William Barton in the world premier of ‘Songlines of Scotland and Australia’ in 2018
- Performed the Wieniawski Violin Concerto no.2 with the SCSO in 2017 as well as across multiple venues in Spain while touring in 2018
- Leader of Academy Strings in 2018 at Scotch College
- Currently part of the Old Scotch Orchestra under John Ferguson and also helps out in Melbourne University Biomed Symphony Orchestra
- Winner of multiple eisteddfods including Waverley and the South Easter Arts Festival for strings 18 and under and second place for open category
Music experiences:
- Captain of Music at Scotch College 2018
- Completed grade 6 musicianship in 2017
- Participated in College Choir, Chamber Choir and a Barbershop Quartet at Scotch College
- Music leader at Glen Waverley Secondary College 2014
- Played in the 2017 Musical at Scotch ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ in conjunction with PLC
- Currently in Concordis Chamber Choir
- A keen and avid guitar player
